I’m pretty sure it’s required to make a sweet reference when posting photos from the Sweet 16. I have plenty of basketball photos to show off, but thought I’d save those until after the tournament.
So for now, you’re getting the random fun shots from the first couple of days in Memphis. Everything from our hotel letting us check out guitars to play to the amazing fried chicken at Gus’s Fried Chicken. (Yes, that’s the name. Grammar nerds attack, but try their chicken first and you’ll let it slide. And I’m not showing the poster on their wall autographed by the Vanderbilt football team that also had a ton of grammar errors. You go to Vanderbilt!)
The Peabody Hotel ducks marching to their fountain is awesome. And so is the BBQ here (still second behind KC) But nether are as awesome as the Dayton Flyers Band.
The Thursday games featured a couple of celebs… Richard Sherman, A former Secretary of State and some dude named Tebow that has skyrocketed my gallery views.
And a moment of silence for my bag check security tags. I’ve been collecting them on my camera case for years. I had tags from venues all across the country. And the FedEx Forum decided they all needed to be removed. I pleaded my case but no luck. RIP multi-colored bag tags.
Stay tuned, lots more basketball photos to come.
